“Our debt to the heroic men and valiant women in the service of our country can never be repaid. They have earned our undying gratitude. America will never forget their sacrifices.” — President Harry S. Truman
On Memorial Day, we remember those who served our country and made the ultimate sacrifice. Eastern Connecticut is proud to be home to military installations and our community is enriched by our military families. We are proud to honor and serve these members of our community through our programs, services, and the support of our members who serve the military.
The Chamber hosts a Military Affairs Council, who help us coordinate our annual Military Appreciation Breakfast and our Service Person of the Month ceremonies, and we share information for the military community including local military discounts.
