The 14th annual Subaru Share the Love® Event helps deliver nutritious meals and other important services to Eastern Connecticut’s seniors. From November 18, 2021, through January 3, 2022, Subaru of America will donate $250 for every new Subaru vehicle purchased or leased to the customer’s choice of participating charities, according to the Thames Valley Council for Community Action (TVCCA).
“Secor Subaru has provided the energy and synergy behind Share the Love in New London, CT, demonstrating their commitment to community, to those who live in the community and to a very special population of senior citizens,” says TVCCA CEO, Deborah Monahan. “These seniors have been part of the community and active for many years and thanks to Meals on Wheels and support from the community and that from Secor Subaru, are aging in place. We are honored and privileged to be their Hometown Charity.”
The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut, in collaboration with TVCCA, hosted a Business After Hours and food drive on November 18 to kick off this campaign. The event, hosted at New London’s Secor Subaru, was a great opportunity to network and donate to a cause that supports the local community.
