On July 7, the Chamber hosted Waterford First Selectman Rob Brule and East Lyme State Representative Holly Cheeseman for a teleconference. The elected officials provided updates on the town’s responses to COVID, including action to support small businesses impacted by the crisis. They offered information on the town’s plans moving forward in this unprecedented time as well as details about town projects in the works outside the parameters of COVID, including developments in Waterford at Mago Point and the airport property and an update on the status of East Lyme’s police building.

Our thanks to Charter Oak Federal Credit Union for sponsoring the event.

Waterford and East Lyme joined the Chamber as the fourth event in a series of Town Hall Updates. View all the conversations on the Chamber’s Facebook page: New LondonCity of GrotonTown of GrotonWaterford and East Lyme. We also hosted our region’s State Senators for an Update from Hartford.
