Mission Statement

The mission of the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT Foundation is to enhance and enrich education and economic opportunities, especially for children and families, in the Chamber’s service area.

The Foundation provides funding to non-profit organizations whose work aligns with and supports this mission. It is the intent of the Foundation to provide such organizations with resources to assist in pilot programs, expansion or sustainability of programs, research, etc., rather than the day-to-day operations of that organization.

Grant Program

Each year, the Foundation awards grants to local 501(c)(3) nonprofits across Eastern Connecticut. These grants help fund projects that improve access to education and strengthen economic opportunity—especially for families and children.

Scholarship Program

We believe in the power of education to shape lives. The Chamber Foundation Scholarship Program provides financial support to promising high school seniors in our region, helping them take the next step toward a strong future in the workforce.

Holiday Gala

Our premier evening of giving, held at Mohegan Sun. Guests enjoy gourmet dining, live entertainment, dancing, and the chance to bid on incredible auction items. Support the cause by joining the Gala Committee, registering to attend this year’s event, or donating an auction item to help make the night a success.

Bowl-a-Thon

A lively, family-friendly event where teams compete for fun and prizes, all while raising funds for scholarships and local nonprofits. Join us by registering a team, sponsoring a lane, or donating a prize to support a great cause!

Proceeds from both events directly support our grantmaking and scholarship efforts.
