On March 13, 2026, the Chamber hosted U.S. Congressman Joe Courtney for a Business Luncheon examining national priorities and their impact on eastern Connecticut’s economy, workforce, and infrastructure. Thank you to Co‑Presenting Sponsors Jeff Brining of Norwich Public Utilities and Loren Webber of Red, White and Bundled for their generous support.

Community & Infrastructure Updates
Norwich Public Utilities shared updates on major community reinvestments, including water and sewer main replacements, environmental safeguards, wastewater treatment upgrades, and long‑term electric system modernization focused on reliability and outage prevention.
These initiatives underscore NPU’s commitment to sustainability, resilience, and reliable service for residents and businesses.

Supporting Military Families
Red, White and Bundled highlighted its mission of supporting military families by providing essential “baby bundles” to newborns of active‑duty service members. Recently rebranded from the Susan M. Tillis Foundation, the organization has delivered thousands of bundles through partnerships with Fort Bragg and the Armed Services YMCA, with a growing footprint across established defense communities along the East Coast.
