Chamber ECT Ambassador Agreement

Thank you very much for participating in the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut Ambassador program. Below you will find questions to help us connect you to members within a convenient distance from your location(s), as well as the annual Ambassador expectations and agreement.
Phone number will be shared with Chamber staff only.


As an ambassador for the Chamber of Commerce of eastern Connecticut, I agree to:

  • Be a welcoming mentor to new Chamber members in any of the following ways: Via phone or email; In person at events;
  • Attend the member’s ribbon cutting ceremony, if applicable.
  • Advise new members of the benefits of chamber membership.
  • Maintain my company’s membership with the Chamber.
  • Assist with membership retention upon request.
  • Attend Ambassador Meetings upon request.
  • Communicate leads and updates to Chamber, via or 860-701-9113
  • Maintain professional confidentiality about Chamber members, staff, and community


  • Company membership dues and other payments must remain in good standing.
  • Company membership must be active for 6 months prior to ambassador’s election.
  • Ambassadors will be reappointed annually based on participation and interest.


Our Ambassadors are well-respected advocates of the region’s largest Chamber of Commerce, and will build their professional network and community recognition through participation. Ambassadors are eligible for:  
  1. Free Admission to all Business After Hours, plus one free Prospect admission per event
  2. Recognition at the Chamber annual meeting
  3. Opportunity for Ambassador spotlight in Chamber communications
