The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut seeks nominations for our annual Military Community Support Award. The honoree should be a business or nonprofit (not an individual) that has gone above and beyond to show support for eastern CT’s men and women in uniform, including active duty service members, veterans, and their families. This might include, and is certainly not limited to: military discounts, special events, military-focused programs, community service, hiring and/or training efforts, and more.

You CAN nominate your own business. The nominee must be a Chamber member in good standing. Two awards may be presented each year: one to a small business (less than 100 employees), and one to a large business. Nominations will be reviewed and winners selected by the Chamber’s volunteer Military Affairs Council.

The winner(s) will be honored at our next Annual Military Appreciation Breakfast, Friday Sep 27, 2024 at the Mystic Marriott in Groton.

Nominations are due July 31 at 11:30 pm.

Past honorees remain ineligible to win again for 5 years. This includes:  Antonino Auto Group 2019, Cardinal Honda 2019, Dime Bank 2022, UCFS Healthcare 2022, Navy Federal Credit Union 2023, Pfizer 2023
